Global warming countermeasures

Background to the study

Global warming is one of the most significant environmental issues. Regional impacts of global warming, which causes impacts on various sectors at regional to global scales, have been emerging in Saitama. Reorganizing our center in 2010, we established a new research group, “Global Warming Countermeasures Group,” which aims to investigate the current state and the impacts of global warming in Saitama prefecture and to develop mitigation and adaptation policies.

Current research topics
