Saitama local cuisine: "Kazo Udon"


During the Edo period in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, producing wheat was very popular.
Since then, this area has eaten wheat in the form of udon.
Kazo Udon has a sparkling glossy finish, and fresh, and firm udon of handmade , and slippery texture. "Mori Udon” is udon that has been washed in cold water and eaten with a cold broth.
There are about 40 udon shops in Kazo City. Please come and try this udon.
