Kawagoe Honmaru Goten Castle

Kawagoe Castle was built in 1457.
The Honmaru Goten, which was the residence of the castle owner, only has a few buildings still existing within Japan.
Kawagoe Castle’s Honmaru Goten is therefore an extremely rare and precious building.
The Kawagoe Castle was also drawn in the map of Edo folding screen, that was created in the latter half of the 17th century.
Please come and feel the atmosphere of the samurai era at the Honmaru Goten.
