Kawagoe's Kashiya Yokocho (Candy Alley)

There are approximately 20 sweets shops lined up on the stone pavement road in Kawagoe’s Kashiya Yokocho (Candy Alley). The shops in the alley get many visitors looking for good old-fashioned flavors.

For the Japanese who have been walking around all day, eating these candies will make them feel like children again.
Visitors can enjoy seeing and eating downtown style cheap sweets, such as colorful hard candies, freshly made senbei (Japanese rice cracker), and sweet potato confectioneries.
