In the “Shoyu Oukoku” at Yugeta shoyu, you can learn everything about making soy sauce. You can see and smell how moromi, or unrefined soy sauce ferment and mature in the bucket before being pressed, and there are also facilities where you can experience the ancient way of pressing soy sauce. The factory tour explains you the process of making soy sauce while your observing how soybeans are steamed and wheat is roasted.
