Kitayama Confectionery’s Senbei (Hikawamochi)

It is said that the Japanese traditional snack, “senbei (rice cracker)”, originated in Saitama prefecture.
In Saitama City there is a shop called Kitayama Confectionery that sells the local favorite, “Hikawamochi” senbei.
Kitayama Confectionery sticks to their raw materials, and craftsmen sell senbei that is hand baked one at a time.
Their senbei is made with 100% Japanese rice and is baked twice in a stone oven. Although the senbei is unusually thick, the middle is very soft.
18 pieces of the Hikawamochi senbei is 1,080 yen.
Please come by the shop to try this specialty senbei!
